To CCL MVP BRET BOSWELL and Pitcher of the Year KYLE JOHNSTON!
As the Foresters battle for the NBC World Series championship, the California Collegiate League, which they captured on July 31, announced the 2016 All-League team. Boswell, the leading hitter in the CCL at .383 and its home run king, was named the Most Valuable Player in a vote of league manages. Kyle Johnston, who had one of the league’s best ERA at 1.74, was named the Pitcher of the Year.
