Foresters Happy to Help!
During the week of June 11, the Foresters put together a pretty good winning streak. But perhaps their biggest victories came well before the first pitch of their games. On June 12-14, the Foresters players put on a special baseball clinic for the local Challengers Little League. These awesome kids, who are dealing with a variety of physical and mental challenges, love baseball as much as the ’Sters do; both groups had a great time learning more about the game and just having fun at Girsh Park. For the Foresters, it was a chance to understand how much good comes from helping other people. Everybody went home winners.
