Congratulations to Oakland A’s pitcher Ryan Cook, the third former Forester to be named to the MLB All-Star Game. Ryan joins James Shields and Foresters Hall of Famer Morgan Ensberg on this short and exclusive list. In his second big-league season, Ryan has been an ace closer for the A’s with 8 saves through Thursday.
