The Foresters CCL battle with the Conejo Oaks on Friday night was suspended after nine innings with the teams locked in a 5-5 tie. The game will be completed at a future Foresters-Oaks meeting.
The Foresters fell behind 4-0 early, but rallied to take a 5-3 lead before Conejo tied the game. Neither team scored after that and without lights at Sparky Anderson Field in Thousand Oaks, the game had to be stopped due to darkness for player safety. Stay tuned to KZSB and this web site for further news on this game.
The Foresters return home on Saturday at 6 pm to face the OC Riptide. On Sunday, the Academy Barons visit at 2 pm. Come out to Pershing Park to root for your Foresters or tune in on KZSB AM 1290 for all the action.
