Foresters Drafted! Good Luck, Guys!

Player pitching

As always, the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft was packed with Foresters. Listed below are all the players chosen through the first 40 rounds. (If we missed any, we apologize; drop us a line at [email protected]…we’re not perfect!) Congrats to Keston Hiura, who played for us for a week-plus last summer before moving up to Team USA. He becomes the second Foresters player, after Matt Garza (2005) to be chosen in the first round. And though Morgan Cooper and Jacob Patterson only pitched for the Sters in Wichita, they’ll always be part of our family, so congrats to them. The other players are probably familiar to recent Foresters fans. The young men you cheered for here in SB are now off to minor leagues in search of a ticket to The Show.

Follow all these players and all former Sters as they try to see their pro baseball dreams come true!
