The Foresters and Conejo Oaks played a full nine innings on Thursday, but without deciding a winner. After the Foresters took the lead 9-7 in the bottom of the eighth on a dramatic two-out, two-run single by Dillon Dobson, an Oaks homer in the ninth tied the game, 9-9. After the Foresters failed to score in the bottom of the ninth, the umpires decided after that it was too dark to safely continue, so the game was suspended at that point. The game will be continued and completed on Tuesday, June 24, before at 3 pm before the regularly-scheduled Oaks-Foresters game at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium. Fans will be able to attend both the completion of this game and the regular June 24 game for one price! We’ll have a full wrapup of the game once it is completed. Thanks to the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts who attended Thursday on Boys Scouts Night. They saw a game that has included—so far!—21 total hits and 18 runs. More to come on Tuesday.
SUSPENDED GAME: Replay begins at 3 pm on Tuesday, June 24
