Baseball is back . . . and the Foresters are back at Pershing Park! The Foresters and manager Bill Pintard are proud to announce their 2018 summer schedule (CLICK HERE). Opening Day is Friday, June 8 vs. the Inland Empire Pirates. After a great first season at Pershing in 2017, the Foresters staff and volunteers are ready to make 2018 even better for fans.
—Expanded seating, including seats right behind home plate!
—A bigger beer menu, featuring local craft breweries!
—New games for kids and new giveaways for fans!
—Same great Foresters wood-bat action!
Returning players will include infielder Ryan Cash and slugging outfielder Luke Ritter. Top players from Texas, Cal State Fullerton, Oklahoma, Auburn, West Virginia, Wichita State, and even the Air Force Academy all will be arriving in town in the coming days and weeks. Local heroes John Jensen and Isaac Coffey will be in action early, along with Westmont pitcher Bailey Reid. A complete roster will be posted by June 5.
As always, season passes will be for sale for families and individuals. Game tickets are sold at the gate, too. Make your plans to be a part of the Foresters this summer. (And for devoted fans, we are still looking for a few more host families—if you have a spare bedroom or guest house for all or part of June and July, contact us at [email protected] for more information.
