Crew members of the USS Ronald Reagan, the aircraft carrier that recently visited Santa Barbara, will be Ster-ing it up as they carry out their missions around the world. Thanks to generous Foresters supporter Lee Artman, Foresters hats and baseballs were distributed to members of the crew last weekend. The sailors were very happy to get a local souvenir, especially when they heard about all of our national championships. One of them was Chief Petty Officer Marissa Kearney (pictured at left), a member of the flight deck fire crew who also directs helicopter landings. The three-year Navy vet has her eye on a career as an aviator. She is one of more than 6,000 personnel on the massive ship.
The Foresters are proud of all our service men and women and wish them a safe and successful cruise.
