Summer with the ’Sters!
2024 Intern Positions Open!
The Foresters don’t just help top college ballplayers improve . . . they also help all college students! Each summer, the Foresters hire and train summer interns in all aspects of game-day experience. For students looking at a career in sports management, marketing, advertising, journalism, public relations, or recreation, a summer with the ’Sters is an excellent training ground. The idea is to get a feel for what a general manager/publicist/marketing director/website manager/event coordinator of a professional baseball team has to do to prepare for and execute a successful season. The goal is to learn enough and be responsible enough to be able to put the title “Assistant to the General Manager” of the best summer collegiate baseball team in the country on your resumé. This year we have a Coaching Intern position available. Apply now for the 2024 summer season!
Download and fill out this application; then email it to [email protected] along with any other information you want us to know about you. A Foresters representative will contact you if an interview is needed.
—Some important notes: You have to arrange your own living situation for the summer. You should have a job and/or classes other than this internship (The time requirements for the internship once the season starts is an hour before game time until the end of the game for home games only; that’s about 24 afternoons/evenings in June and July.) You should have your own spending money. The internship is an unpaid position.
—Some thoughts from past interns:
“This is perfect for people looking into game-day ops work. You can get a ton out of it if you’re willing to put in the effort and learn new skills. Plus you get to work alongside some great people and fun personalities!” – Rob
“It’s a great opportunity to learn about what goes into a successful organization. You will learn about everything from promotions all the way to game day cooking!” – Derek
