WE’RE GOING TO WICHITA!
Manager Bill Pintard read a note to the Foresters Friday night with exciting news. The NBC World Series has officially extended an invitation to the team to travel to Wichita to take part in the 84th World Series. The invitation continues a 24-year streak that is the longest in the history of the event, which began back in 1935! The Foresters thank all the fans and supporters who have helped them reach this goal . . . now we’re asking for help again. The cost of sending the team increases each year, and we hope that generous members of our Foresters family might be able to extend their generosity to offset some of the costs. You can use the PayPal button below, or you can send a check to Foresters at 4299 Carpinteria Ave., Carpinteria CA 93013. You can also reach out to any of our staff members at home ballgames, where we can take credit card donations. Your support means the world to the entire team and the players and coaches look forward to carrying the Foresters banner with pride once again as we take on the best in the nation. If the Foresters were lucky enough to win this year, it would set a new all-time record for the tournament, with seven NBC World Series championships!
’STER IT UP!
Many thanks.
