The Foresters next game at the NBC World Series is set: We take on the undefeated Seattle Studs on Thursday, Aug. 6 at 8 pm SB time/10 pm Wichita time. The Studs won the Winner’s Bracket by defeating the Valley Center Diamond Dawgs, who themselves handed the Foresters their first loss of the tournament on Tuesday. Another loss would send the Foresters home disappointed, but a win sends them into the national semifinal on Friday night. The Foresters and the Studs have a long history at the NBC World Series. Santa Barbara won the 2014 national championship by defeating Seattle, 3-2, in 12 innings. In 2013, it was the Studs who eliminated the ‘Sters. The Foresters won their fourth national title by beating Seattle in the 2012 final, 6-2. The Foresters also won their 2008 title by beating Seattle, 2-0, led by Foresters Hall of Famer Andre Miller.
