After a 30-win regular season, the Foresters head to Wichita, Kansas, in search of two unprecedented accomplishments: a fourth consecutive NBC World Series title, and an 11th overall championship. No team has reached either goal, so the Foresters have their work cut out for them.
The ’Sters will play three games in Pool B. The first will be Friday, August 4 starting at 6:30 pm Pacific time vs the Lonestar Kraken. Santa Barbara will then play Sunday August 6 and Tuesday August 8. The opponents will be the Great Bend Bat Cats and Sandlot Tulsa, but which team we play and when is TBD.
Foresters fans can hear all the action as usual on AM 1290/FM 96.9 or online PLUS watch live video of all the games via the NBC World Series YouTube channel. (We suggest just turning down the sound, so you can hear your local radio voices!).
